We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Supply Chain Manager, MOD Business Partner, to lead and revolutionize our North American Modernization Products. This senior leadership role is integral in shaping our supply chain strategy, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost-efficiency to new heights. The role is responsible for the total BOM for MOD and for some additional categories including hoistway cables, MOD wire harnesses, and other MOD-specific products in the region. This role reports directly to Sr. Director Supply Chain, NA, and dotted line to Global Supply Chain Director, MOD.

  • Take full ownership of regional Modernization (MOD) supply chain strategy by identifying gaps in the current supply base in both short term and long term, while working closely with global MOD lead to support global strategy and achieve global key metrics

  • Work closely with the category management team and business units to define and implement category strategies, maximizing cost savings and operational efficiency, for both MOD and New Equipment.

  • Lead and drive supply chain risk mitigations. Be the escalation window for MOD components shortages and drive key suppliers’ recovery plans.

  • Lead executive-level weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and report-outs, providing high-level insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Utilize advanced data analytics, including predictive modeling and artificial intelligence, to analyze regional direct material spending, identifying transformative opportunities and cost-reduction strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify strategic suppliers in the Americas and other low-cost countries, ensuring a diversified and strategically aligned supplier base.

  • Oversee the creation of RFQ packages, conduct high-stakes negotiations, and provide strategic sourcing recommendations to drive transformative changes in cost, quality, and supplier relationships.

  • Lead high-level technical reviews and strategic engagement with suppliers, fostering innovation and driving alignment across functions within the organization, including engineering, quality, and supplier development.

  • Stay at the forefront of market trends and insights by analyzing complex market data from multiple sources, such as CRU, AMM, HIS, CME, COMEX, and provide cutting-edge market insights to leadership.

  • Facilitate high-level cross-functional team meetings, fostering alignment and collaboration among key stakeholders and driving the execution of supply chain strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or cost management.

  • Strong strategic planning, financial, analytical, and execution skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork across functional teams.

  • Exceptional communication skills, including influencing in a matrixed organization.

  • In-depth experience with raw materials and a profound understanding of the NAA steel market.

  • Proficiency in crafting executive-level summaries and presentations for management.

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, change management, and negotiation.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) with application in negotiations and cost evaluation, including import and freight considerations, along with Clean Sheet modeling knowledge.

  • Flexibility in daily scheduling for effective global operations.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing systems/processes and ERP/JDE configurations.

  • Experience with Excel and data manipulation programs.

  • Willingness for up to 25% travel (primarily domestic, with potential for international travel).

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in supply chain, finance, engineering, or business.

  • Knowledge of the elevator industry and/or field operations is highly desirable.
